Whole Family Learning Center (WFLC)
Why Whole Family Catechesis? Parents are the ones who have the most influence on whether their children will remain Catholic when they reach adulthood. Pew research indicates that 80% of confirmed Catholics stop actively practicing their faith by the time they are 20 years old. Our model invites parents and children to engage in their faith in a fun and interactive approach. It allows parents to fulfill their mission to be evangelizers of their own family. This program meets on average 2 times per month from 6:00-7:15 p.m. This program is open to all ages. Although we encourage the entire family to attend, we understand that is not always possible, however, one parent should always attend with their child/children. Confirmation students are encourage to attend these sessions as well. CONFIRMATION WILL BE HELD FOR 8TH AND 9TH GRADE STUDENTS in Spring of 2024 with Abbot Gary Hoover. Confirmation preparation sessions will be held on Sunday afternoons January-April.
This program meets twice a month on Monday evenings starting October 3, 2022. Please see the attached schedule for holiday observations.
The fee for W.F.L.C. is 50.00 per family or 10.00 for a single session
