Discovering Christ is a seven-week experience that invites you to hear the Good News and personally encounter Jesus Christ! Discovering Christ is a course designed for everyone and anyone. Over seven weeks, we explore topics such as: "What is the Meaning of Life?", "Why Does Jesus Matter?", "What Does Jesus Want Us to Know?", "Why Do We Need a Savior?", "Why Is the Resurrection Important?", "Who is the Holy Spirit?" and more. Maybe you know someone who is asking one or more of those questions above. Discovering Christ at St. Matthias is a great choice for them!

Starting January 7th at 6:30 PM, we will be running “Discovering Christ” for 7 weeks as part of our “Tuesday Night Teaching” series. Discovering Christ is so much more than a teaching, however, it is a personal encounter with Jesus, an encounter with Truth, and an invitation to a new relationship. Each evening will consist of food, a talk on a particular topic, and ample time for small group discussion. 


It’s not about teaching but about being introduced to the person of Jesus, whether again or for the first time. This introduction is personal, but not isolated. We are not alone. Attendees together receive the answers to life’s great questions and are given a low pressure place to unpack what they’ve heard, or better yet, who they’ve met. Participants who’ve gone through this course have expressed not only satisfaction at the answers to their questions, but a personal relationship with the God who pursues us in love.
